What makes a good title?

Choosing a title for your design can be tricky, but by following these guidelines, you’ll be well on your way to picking a great title for your design:

  • Make your title memorable.

    If your design’s title sticks in a customer’s head, they’re more likely to come back.

  • Make your title short.

    In general, shorter titles are more memorable.

  • Make your title unique.

    If your title isn’t unique, it’s less likely to be found.

Also keep in mind that your title doesn’t have to be literal. A logo for a hairdresser doesn’t have to be titled “Hairdresser’s Logo” or “Scissors in a Circle” — “Snippity’s Snips” or “Short Back ‘n’ Sides” are a great examples of a short titles that might catch the customer’s attention.
