Choosing a winner and handover
What is the Design Handover and how does it work?
Design Handover is the stage where you and the designer sign the Design Transfer Agreement and the designer transfers the files to you.
The Design Handover process begins as soon as you’ve declared a winner in your contest.
- The first step is to sign the Design Transfer Agreement. We’ll email you to let you know once the designer has signed the agreement too, and uploaded the files.
- You’ll have 5 days to review the files, and request any other changes that you may need using the Comments field on the Design Handover page before the money is released. You can monitor the time until the money is released at the bottom of the Design Handover page.
- After you’ve ensured that you have everything that you need, check that box and click on the I Accept button to release the prize payment to the designer’s account.
- After you’ve released the prize, you’ll have the opportunity to leave a testimonial for the winning designer. Simply return to the Design Handover page and click on the Leave a testimonial button. The testimonial will be featured in the designer’s portfolio on our site.
You can access the files and Design Transfer Agreement from the Design Handover page at any time by clicking the Handover tab on your contest page.
