What is The Brief Feedback Button?

As you know, one of the foundations of every great contest is a clear, easy to understand brief. The “Brief Feedback” option is a great way to provide feedback to the Contest Holder to let them know that they’ve done a great job with their brief, or even to notify 99designs so that they can help the Contest Holder improve their current brief. With the Brief Feedback Button, it gives you three options: “Great Brief! A+!”, “This brief is unclear” and “Inappropriate Requirements”.

  • Great Brief! A+!

This is for a great brief that’s easy to understand, and that makes it perfectly clear what’s expected of you as a designer. We like to give positive feedback to the Contest Holder, and if you do too, then choose this option, and they’ll get an email from us not only to pass on your feedback, but it’ll be packed with great hints and tips to help them make sure the contest is a success!

  • This Brief Is Unclear

If you’re not entirely sure what’s being asked in the brief, or how much work you’re required to do, choose this option. If there are other designers that also choose this option, then a message gets sent to our Customer Support team, who will reach out to the Contest Holder to suggest changes that need to be made.

  • Inappropriate Requirements

If the contest is asking for tasks that we don’t cater for, like coded contests or Flash components, or even if the Contest Holder is asking for an unrealistic amount of work for a minimum prize amount, choose this option. If there are other designers that also choose this option, then a message gets sent to our Customer Support team, who will reach out to the Contest Holder to instruct the Contest Holder about how they can fix their brief.
