How do I report a design?
To report a design, click “Report” on the designer’s page for the contest in question. Do not leave comments in the contest — these do nothing but start flame wars, making contest holders nervous and damaging everybody’s reputation.
If you’re reporting a copyright infringement, make sure you include:
The number of the design that is in violation of copyright
You should also make sure you understand what’s covered under copyright.
If you’re accusing another designer of stealing your design, please keep in mind that a certain degree of similarity is expected between entries in the same contest. Please read “What if somemone steals my design?” before reporting such designs.
If you’re unhappy with the resolution to your report (and you can prove your ownership of the design in question) consider filing a DMCA takedown notice. But be warned — you’ll be liable for damages, including costs and lawyers or attorneys fees, if you materially misrepresent that an activity is infringing your copyright.
