i would enter this but now time is sort of fleeting. are you stuck on your concept. i think there is a more subtle way to portray the message you would like to, without being concerned about defamation of charachter. this campaign you claim is to create an ad "with the purpose of creating awareness of Duraply Certified Plywood"....all i can see is a smear campaign and i think this could possibly turn off prospective clients, but past jaded employees might get a kick out of it. In other words this ad only would appeal to people that were really in tune with what took place at that company or employees of that company....so your traget audience is very limited by this ad.

also danielgudsell , would you consider pushing the due date 1 or 2 days ahead...i am very busy with school and stuff at the momeent but would love to make you something.
actually there are many easy ways to get around that protected swf...that is what i thought before i got ripped off:(

is tht ok if i send you the file as exe in a zip folder for previewing? if thats ok. then i'll start working on something.
I guess thats a risk you take on this site, you will need to rely on the integrity of the contest holder.
so i think it'll be better if we send you an exe file in a zip folder to show our tries and after money is cleared...we can easily send you the swf or the desired file format. is this ok?
i only have one concern by showing my work through flash...i have been riped off so many times using swf because anyone can easily download the file, convert to fla and remove any watermarks, edit and use it and not give any money to the flash maker. This is horrible since the flash designer works soo hard making these designs. so how do we know this wont happen with this contest?
marketing is always surpriseing...cocacola an pepsi keep challenging each other...and they are both same company...if it works...why not?

Ok... I was going to start this today, but from the last post I am unsure if the contest holder is going to take the advice or not, so now i'm not sure if it is worth my time entering until the contest holder states his views.

Hi, I'm not entering, just watching and I don't know much about your company. However, I wanted to share my thoughts in hopes that they help you.
1. Flash does not travel well via email. If you send as an attachment you can guarantee 90% wont look at it (because it doesn't add any value for them).
2. A wise man once said you cannot sell a man a Mercedes by insulting his BMW. I would suggest highlighting your superiority or how you can relate to and help your customers.
