This was a great contest and I thank everyone for all the great entries. It took longer than expected to make a decision because all the entries were really good. Look for more contests from me in the future.
Has someone won this contest? Or has it been abandoned?
I have extended the contest 2 more days
I'm in
this is gonna be a hard choice and I'm excited that one of these will make the fan site even better
Hey cdunde1
Just to let you know, I did fix my submission and posted it in my first entry as a comment. So if you would please give some feedback if anything else needs to be altered.
Thanks

Water under the bridge....
Fair enough. I guess we're all different in our views / perspectives. It would be a boring world if we we all the same.
Bub: . . . the first half of my clip, before the text enters - not the concept, but the animation itself. Of course we all animated footballs flying through goalposts (we were encouraged to), but every other contestant did so in a unique way. I commend them for that. If you did not see his updated animation before he withdrew it, possibly he would post a link, or message you.
I did not mean any harm. I value my work and wish to protect it, as everyone should. From the SitePoint designer guidelines:
"If you create a work that is based on another person's work or ideas, then you could be violating that person's rights under copyright law, even if the designer did not include a copyright notice on the original work.
As a result, the owner of the original work may take legal action against you, and you could be forced to pay severe penalties including lost profits, actual damages, statutory damages and lawyer's fees."
I only intended to make everyone aware of the infridgement so that they (i.e. the contest holder) may decide for themselves the seriousness of the issue. As I told hackySack privately, I wouldn't have pursued it further if noone cared . . . the rewards would not outway the efforts that would need be made. Honestly, I am surprised at the reaction considering how common these issues are here.
Anyway, I let it rest. Goodluck hackySack, looking forward to your piece.
very good
I have decided to re-enter. Expect an updated submission from me soon.
Out of curiosity, which part was considered to be an infringement?
I did not ask that you withdraw from the competition entirely, only that your work be entirely your own. This could have been resolved by simply removing the animation that mimicked mine, then adding your own; after all, your ending frames looked just fine. Thank you for taking action though.
Im out, due to the fact that I do not accept being accused of "steeling" concepts. Thanks cdunde1 for the great contest.
Well to be dead honest with you I never even looked at the other submitions. I will remove my entry!!!
You could of just pm me and mentioned that.
