The rebuses — puzzles that use pictograms to form a word or phrase — have been rolling in for the past week and we have been LOVING it! Our community really flexed its wit and produced some seriously clever stuff.
There can only be three winners, though. For their conceptual heft and stylistic polish, these three absolutely earned their t-shirts.
Congratulations to the winners!
“May the force be with you,” by Nico Strike
“Andy Warhol,” by CHET SLATER
“Pay Phone,” “Winter Winds,” “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall,” “White Blank Page,” “Party Rock,” “Tongue Tied,” “Princess of China,” “Call Me Maybe” and “Tonight We Are Young,” by nabeeh
But let’s not stop there. The runners-up were mighty impressive too. Can you figure these out?
“Love thy neighbor,” by michelleanne
“Never Gonna Give You Up,” by Greyvivian
“Justin Bieber,” by christianalban
“Pythagoras,” by Sandra Grecu
“I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It,” by Nabeeh
“All You Need is Love,” by 2bcreative
“Olympics,” by Small Sapling
“Rebus contest,” by Kelvin & Cynthia
Thanks to everyone who participated — you made our week.
Give our rebus stars some love in the comments!
