The final results from the judges are in and we are proud to announce the winners of the 99designs homepage redesign contest!
In no particular order…
Aloe84
Aloe84 was amazing throughout the contest. She provided wireframes, interactive mockups and ultimately pushed the design the furthest from what we have today – she even toyed around with a new logo treatment! We absolutely applaud her work and are happy to name her as one of the three selected winners.
Pavot
Pavot set the tone for this contest early. We were immediately drawn to his slick re-imagination of our current homepage. We loved the great use of texture and striking color contrast particularly in “Rockstar designer” call out. Well done!
Simone Freelance
This dynamic duo out of Italy brought some fantastic creativity to the table. We loved the novelty of one of their initial concepts concept that introduced an accordion interaction for the main graphic. In the end we moved towards a simpler concept that does a great job of braking down what this site is all about for clients.
So CONGRATULATIONS to all three of you for your great work! We’ve already begun testing these designs internally and they will continue to inform our ongoing design process.
We also want to send out a BIG THANK YOU to all the designers who participated in this project! It was an amazing process for us and you all made it tough on us to decide. We’d like to give a special shout out to the rest of our finalists who all did amazing work throughout the contest:
