black droplet represents ink and art, the ripples are gold because the value is in the reactions that are created.

Thank you for these great entries. My favorite of all is the third logo on #37 - because I like the idea of the multiple ripples and their intersection. Very cool. I also like the colors and the symbolism of #38. I think it would be interesting if you changed the droplet to a stone or maybe a piece of pottery (like a vase).

I love new design in #59. I am curious to see a version against a dark background as well. You did a great job with the vase and the paint brush as well - although I'm not sure it's the right look I'm going for.

Hi Hoshimo, I've asked some friends for feedback on these designs and yours is coming up as a favorite (#97) although some people think it looks like an AT&T add (or something about communications. Do you mind giving me a few more variations. Maybe playing with colors again and/or playing with the design to make it look more like art than communication? Sorry, I know that is hard to do!

hahah AT&T, i guess i can see how you can see that now that you say it... anyway, heres what im going to try for the first round of variations.. if you think of anything, please do let me know:
1) variation of 'ripple' positions
2) variation of 'ripple' thicknesses
3) circle shape
i feel that you like the gold and black colors, and that you like the font, so i wont change those just yet unless im proven otherwise!

here are just a few ideas. playing with the perspective of the ripple (above, horizon view..), thickness of the stroke changing from inside of the ripple to the outside.. and different ripple positions. do you have any suggestions as to what you like? did you like three ripples better or two? or.. do you like less ripples or more? haha there are so many variations!
