I didnt bother sketching this because it was just as quick to do it in illustrator.
This has something going for it - mainly that the icon is a tight, compact unit, and looks cool. And I guess it represents a horn, or speaker, perhaps a whirlwind of information. But itself a bit on the complex side, and on one side, not enough meaning, and the other side, not enough abstractness. I was going to give you 1.5 stars but I couldn't, so it gets a 2 (which is good) for (a) nice clean design style and (b) simple looking design from a distance (but too complex).
I don't know about the horn concept - I love the old RCA / His Masters Voice logo though!
