Here's the Black and White version of my design. As you can see, the logo works well on both backgrounds as well as small.

#53 for this design the "Epic Dog" font needs something less techy/modern and bit more classic. Perhaps try an arc on the font.
#54 Might look better without the starburst, I think the blue fill and the blue starburst are too much together, or choose a more subtle burst color.
