Here's my concept for the site. Professional, modern and Web2 styling without overdoing it with icons :-)
If the preferred header image is the window picture (which it appears to be :-) I can also submit a version with that graphic (tried to use something different to the other entries for my original submission).
PS: I also added a small navbar at the very top - it wasn't asked for in the brief, so if not required, can be easily removed.

A variation.... used a bit more black within the design seeing as I was using the black version of the logo.

I'll try uploading again - my new design showed up with a completely black background - which it didn't.. not sure if there is a glitch when uploading...
PS: I have no idea why #40 is showing a black background, my own copies and previews show a white background. however, when you view the full image (not thumbnail), you can see the correct image........ very strange ;-(

Thanks for your entries Nadia! They are both quite nice. It's weird about that black background problem. It looks fine when you view it full size. Some comments:
- I like the image you used in #26.
- I prefer the way you put the logo text in #26.
- Nice idea with the additional navbar at the top, but yeah, it's better removed. I didn't quote them on programming a search feature for the site!
- I prefer the rounded top on the banner image in #40.
- The colours in #26 are a little too vibrant blue. They need to be a bit more muted, like the colours on the bennetjones site.
- The colours in #40 take a completely different direction from what was specified in the design brief, but I like it! I will see what the clients think.
- The footer is a little boring.

- I don't think the green and blue work together. One or the other. #26 and #40 look better because their colour scheme works better.
- I don't think the photo in the footer works. Thanks for trying something original though!

Ok, back to #26 concept and final attempt:
Softened the blue in the header, rounded the header image, removed the search option in the top nav and added a little something to the footer.
We'll see how this one goes :-)

Here's the black version (apparently there is a problem with the thumbnail software trying to choose a colour of it's own as the bg colour - according to Admin Staff - which they are fixing over the next couple of days :-)
I've changed the logo text to the preferred orientation, and a couple of other minor changes. I can always add the top right navbar into this design as well seeing as it's black is being used, but will omit it from this design for now.
PS: I've added a small white box around the canvas to see if that stops the black background from popping up with the upload.

- maybe try some different blues. Try taking colours from the bennetjones site.
- try the logo in white in the footer
- the footer is heavier on the right. maybe try to balance it by moving something over to the left.

Blue samplings taken from bennett-jones site, again :-)
(I did use some of the blues in previous versions though I made use of them in gradient form.)
#84 is great. your best entry yet. Very nice and original concept with the footer. Two more suggestions:
- put the Legal info menu in footer on the left, and the copyright on the right.
- Put "site developed by whitespark" in the same white font. Don't want it to stand out. If anything, you could put it in a more subdued colour so it stands out less.
This design is being shown to the client for consideration.

Added text to the header box and added some shadows to the info boxes on each side.
Thanks Nadia, those additional touches give it that extra something to put it into the 5 stars category. Looks great.
Can I also see the other colour scheme (darker nav bar and footer) with those extra details? I'd like to present both colour options to the client. Thanks!
