Thanks for the great entries and for raising the bar, finally. I was begining to wonder! Like the arrow idea across the map and the bold text is good. Probably prefer to have the service in the bold and the local in normal but that may not suit the design. Would like to the service coloured as well, preferably flat - not web 2 style. Thank you muchly.

flat 2 color option... I think the dark gray looks good as a second... adds contrast... If you have a couple colors in mind you'd like to then just let me know... thanks for your kind words and direction...
Hi Mg, we have around 1000 service categories from accountants to weddings, trade services, etc and our site allows user to request quotes from the businesses listed in the directory. Its a light weight design mainly css and there is lot of links and dynamic text to deal with in the listings. Becasue of this I was hoping to coordinate the link colour wih the logo colours in a 2 or 3 colour design so it looks commercial and branded to a wide ranging audience. I think the local does look better in the bold "design wise". Was thinking maybe blue green theme. Green for "go" action and blue as the contrast colour. Can always play with colors later though. Maybe in #219 the contrast is to high so the design seems to seperate a little. Like the blend on the map in #204 but im fairly sure we want flat text becasue it looks more genuine. I dont know if this helps any!
