    Thanks to all the designers who've submitted designs. This is a great range in design to start off this project. It's interesting to see each designer's interpretation of the brief.

    We're really excited by the cool concepts, approaches and .

    Just a note: Please make sure the designs you submit don't use clip art unless you alter them greatly so that they become original.

    Also it is important not use icons that represent a specific type of man (like a businessman, skateboarder, sports figure etc.) or specific age group (like a young man or old man).

    We are looking forward to seeing more concepts, and cool designs that express 'transparency' - this is a great work of creativity.

    Hi Psychedelia, the grunge/urban style seems to work best for the edgy look we need for this project. But we aren't limited to that. That approach just seems to have the boldness we are looking for to this point.

    We're still open to other approaches. They just need to be bold, dramatic and something men within the 'sweet spot' of the target can connect to.

    Hi everyone,
    Some designers have asked for a little more guidance with the type of imagery we and our client is interested in.

    So we have compiled a small list below to help guide any designers who are interested in submitting a design.

    Here is imagery that makes a connection with our client:

    * Wings/sky/arrows pointing up/images or graphics that have a skyward motion feel to them.

    These images imply 'rising above the status quo'. Getting over difficulties by rising above the challenges of acting like real men etc...

    * Roots/graphics that look like they spread out and are grounded/

    These types of images imply being grounded in some fundamental ways of thinking, basic thoughts and principals etc..

    * Bold fonts/Strong graphic shapes/strong bold color etc...

    This type of imagery suggest that men need to be bold, strong, determined if they are going to go against the way most people think etc...

    * Unusual imagery or executions of recognizable objects (like a man, wings steps etc…)

    This type of imagery represents the really different forum that these men will participate in. It also serves to attract attention and make guys do a double-take.

    * Images that reflect toughness/armor/shields/strength/grunge/dirt/controlled messiness etc…

    This imagery shows the toughness it takes to be vulnerable

    * Translucent images, Overlapping and translucent imagery, windows into the soul, inside of a man, holes or spots to see inside objects.

    This type of imagery implies the 'openness' required by the men who will participate. It also implies they have nothing to hide (good stuff and bad stuff)

    We hope this helps those designers who requested to the feedback.

    This has been a great contest! Top-notch design.

    We will be eliminating all logos that we are not considering for this project (this doesn't reflect on the great design that has been submitted).

    We will do this for the clarity of the other designers who may still be thinking of submitting.

    This has been a great contest and a very difficult one to judge! Our client is very happy with all the fantastic work you've all done. Unfortunately there is only one winner. So our client is now reviewing the final submissions and will select a winner within 24hrs. Please check back.

    On another note...Thanks again for your excellent work. This is our first try at this. And we were pleasantly surprised. You truly are a high-end group of thinkers and designers - Kudos!

    As a result of the response of high design talent submissions we received, we are ramping up another contest to post within a few days (another funky project) - we hope you'll all join in again (even if we weren't able to select your work this time).
