Brief Summary

This company is looking for two things: A beautiful logo to go with a new site that is being built, and a working relationship with a graphic artist or two to add to the short list of talented professionals that make up the Alpha Channel Group design team.

  1. #6 has a very nice concept...the top one... nicelly done design president! Just the "g" leg in my opinion could look better if it was rounded like the other elements...something like 1/4 of the letter "a"...it's just a thought...but i love it anyways! :D

  2. Thank you all for your submissions. What a pleasure to work with such clearly talented designers.

I've left each of you individual feedback, but I wanted to also leave some overall feedback here:

LIKES: I like #3 the best, closely followed by #5, and then #8 and #11. The general layout of #3 is great, the shape/icon to the left of the text is something that I think we could work with (with a bit of tweaking). DragonShy has intrigued me a bit - I like the object in #3 quite a bit, but would like to see if we could get it into a more horizontal layout. I'm drawn to, but not 100% conviced on, the "group" being dropped below the "Alpha Channel".

DISLIKES: I'm not sure the colors work in #8 and #11. The designs are attractive, I'm just thrown I think by the stronger colors. The pyramid shape isn't doing it for me, either... hopefully d3crypt3d will choose to come back with another object/shape. #10's shape looks like a book (to me), which isn't what we want to convey - and I'd like to see a different font - that one is nice, but not quite as "professional" feeling as some of the others.

So, because I appreciate all of your hard work, I don't want to eliminate any designs yet. If I gave it a one star, though (#4, #1, #2), my suggestion is to start fresh with a completely different design if you choose to continue working on this project.

  3. To all of the designers:

I am honored to have had the chance to work with such a brilliant lot of designers. This experience far exceeded my wildest expectations, and it's all because of you. Thank you very, very much. You all made the final decision quite difficult, because all of your designs were so excellent.

    Best Regards,

    Cale
