another simpler and bolder take on the cool house price spy!

i think this allows for neat favicons, and easier use throughout your branding.

#6 Very clever, The spy and the hat works well. I wonder how it would look on the whole with more radiant colours like that used in #7 or pastel colours. :)

#5 Works well too, maybe preference for #6 out of the two you submitted. Not sure on the blue & black, though the £ used as smoke coming out of the gun is noticed :)

thanks..i agree that the color can become more radiant.

i also think that the pound sign might better be used elsewhere so as not to clutter the spy/house combined idea..what do you think about moving the pound sign..

I'll run it by colleagues, for their combined feedback & have a reply for you tomorrow if that is okay.

    Hi,

I am having difficulty reaching all the colleagues today. So not quite sure what to do with the £ sign in your previous comment. If it's okay with you, could the logo be brought to the left hand side of the company name, then utilise black & gold thru the design for comparison ie have the word price in gold like #10 but better, with use of gradients / shading (if that is the correct terminology). The magnifying glass has been used in a few design options. Do you think incorporating this anywhere would make it too busy. Note: we like the fact lower case lettering has been used.

I know this may sound a little daft & it might look totally awful, imagine a magnifying glass placed horizontally with glass piece on the left & handle extending to the right. The image of the spy goes inside the glass & company name along the handle. If you think it looks silly, don t worry. Also what are your thoughts on hous£pric£spy making "£" similar to "e". Maybe i ve had too much caffine. :)

ok, im going to try some of these and see what works. i tend to come from the school of less is more, so my instincts tell me that some of this may be over the top, but i like the replacement of the e's with the pound symbol. it could work. remember though that since we are using lower case letters, it may look odd that the E's are upper case using hthe pound symbol.

bottom line is this, you want your customers to see this logo and think, wow, thats really cool! (combining a house with a spy!) the more we add to it, the less this "ah ha" factor is achieved because the eye will be forced to look all over the place rather than at any one neat idea.

the other thing to consider is that you have a site that will have a lot of data numbers, graphs, and text, so it would b egood thing to have a logo that created a balance to this with some sort of simplicity and clean quality.

i'll try some of these today, so look for a couple of new looks in the next 24. cheers

    what about something like this.

need to finesse the gold color,...

i tried the pound sign as E's but it makes the word hard to read..very bad thing to have any question about what your url is so i had to abandon that.

i still like the simplicity of the character without the hand and mag glass, so if you can think of any other pound symbol placements im all ears :)

hi mate with 7 decision makers, and only getting hold of 4 so far, yours is in the lead and a day to go between #6 & #16. Yes the gold needs a bit of finesse. Just to let you know the elements we like, the magnifying glass to the left could prob go and used in the same way number #17 with the £ as an e, the spy to the left works better rather than above. Also the "o" has a keyhole in number 12 is subtle and works well too. Undecided if ".com" should sit under the "py" or on the end.

just had further feedback, they prefer the colour scheme in number 6, with the following ideas repeated from previous comment.

the magnifying glass in #16 to the left could prob go and used in the same way number #17 with the £ as an "e", the spy to the left works better rather than above comparing #6 & #16. Also the "o" has a keyhole in number 12 is subtle and works well too. Undecided if ".com" should sit under the "py" or on the end.

I realise you maybe busy, so whether you have time or not is understandable, but I just wanted to offer you as much feedback as possible.
