Brief Summary

Help us spread the love of Jesus through a creative shirt design with a theme of My King- do you know him? The winning designer will be featured, including a short bio and link to the designers site, with the shirt on our new website that will launch soon. This is the first of approximately 12 different shirt theme / designs we plan on running a contest. Our goal with Jesus Life is create a lifestyle brand for Christian’s who wish to express their faith, and show the love of Jesus through fashionable clothing with graphic designs that are biblically inspired.

    Hey guys read the brief...."My idea is to feature numerous names for Jesus on the shirt (see below for list), with My King- do you know him? Incorporated into the design. Christ, Savior, Immanuel, Messiah, Alpha and Omega, Redeemer, Bread of Life, Son of God, Jehovah, Lord, Anointed, the Bridegroom, the Lamb, the Good Shepard, the Tree of Life, the Bread of Life, the Light, the High Priest, the Truth, Prince of Peace, Lord over all."

    I vote for design #18.. oooh, kinda torn between that and #22. I would totally wear one of those shirts. The designs are wicked kewl!!

    I'm kinda new to this site, but why have none of the entries been critiqued yet the competition is still deemed as healthy? What am I missing here?

    Designers, I posted this contest yesterday afternoon and got about four submissions fairly quick. I am new to this site / process. I didn't know to give my feedback here, but rather prompty clicked on each of the five designs submitted yesterday one at a time, and wrote my feedback in the comments box in that section. Based on my feedback yesterday to each individual designer, I see SWDesign and Billiebonka read my feedback and resubmitted with very strong designs. I hope that clears things up why you didn't see my feedback here in the "main page". I will add feedback next on the designs above so everyone can get some direction from my perspective.     #31, we really want to create a design featuring a vintage / abstract look. Perhaps you may want to visit c28.com and sanctifyclothing.com and look over their mens t-shirt designs. This will help you understand what we're aiming for and hopefully give you some fresh ideas to enhance your entry. Thank you!

    i guess i'm reading this wrong,
    i thought you wanted an iconic logo/design which from a distance gives you the impression of a particular brand. but when you get close up you realise and read my king ect ect like #21

    #31, I appreciate the effort, but would like to see more vintage / abstract design elements incorporated into the design. For example the cross could be enhanced with a vintage design, and the My King- do you know Him? could be layered over the different names for Jesus on the front. Some added background elements might be cool looking, too. Hope that makes sense? Look at SW's design #14 & #15. He's done a neat job layering different design elements to add intrigue / interest.

    #42-#46, Damiani, thank you for all the different designs / ideas. I appreciate your effort. We really want a vintage / abstract design, though. Also, we're wanting to be bold with the message / theme of the shirt, but a little less intrusive with the images of Jesus would be more in sync with our plans for this project. Hopefully this feedback along with looking over c28.com and sanctifyclothing.com will help you understand our design objectives. Thanks again.

    #55-#60. We appreciate your ideas, but for this particular project we want a vintage / abstract look. You can see a trend with the higher scores due in large part to the vintage elements the designers included within the overall design. Yours is more graffiti look-- good but not what we're looking for on this project. Thanks again!

    Maybe one of the designers can give me some suggestions...we are considering adding a 2nd and 3rd place awards to this contest, but not sure logistically how to do that since the contest is over tomorrow? We emailed the site eariler today about this question, but haven't gotten a response yet. Any suggestions?

    Don't know for sure, but perhaps you could just message your choices for 2nd and 3rd place and see if they'll accept your offered 2nd or 3rd place prize for their design?
