Brief Summary

Biddy Friel’s is a genuine Irish pub in Ireland. It combines the feel of a traditional Irish pub with a more contemporary bistro/restaurant and it has established reputation for good music/events/functions.

The pub now wishes to develop a new logo that reflects this blend of traditional and contemporary.

The logo will be used primarily for signage initially, both on the pub itself and on directional signs, so it is important that the logo and/or fonts are very strong and easily read. The logo will also then be used for posters, menus, uniforms etc.

  1. I am sorry. I can not edit these anymore. I can not make anymore. I do not have the programs to do so. If I had the money to buy the programs I would. Sorry. I guess I lost.

  3. #3 and #4 - I like the wave styling and font used on this. I also like the cstle idea - maybe more defined but without the flag. Good eforts

  5. #8 - typography and use of black (makes me think of creamy Guinness) is subtle and good. Remember it's a real Irish pub that wants a more contemporary feel (not a theme pub) so clovers,shamrocks etc. are not needed.

  16. Seanie....what you tell me doesn't help me at all, i think you just understand nothing to design , #10 and #12 are good contemporary logos, but other logos logos are not contemporary at all and some are just really bad.

  24. scot .... i also think you should correct the angle of the first white block on left side , coz it makes the castle top curvy. That line should follow the upper line of other blocks. But that's just my opinion.

  25. gwariner ... has a great logo too , just need to delete the straight lines down the castle, coz they choke the curvy lines ...down part of first version was perfect. Now i stop with giving my stupid opinion. Just Scot, your catsle is better with square windows and better to move down 'only' the ' , not the whole word. And also jmarfurt has a pretty smile .
