I don't want to kick up a stink, but the contest holders made a public announcement as to what they were looking for and they gave examples of not only colour, but style of text, graphic, etc. They wanted revisions.

To be honest I think #244 looks nothing like #181. The circular objects in #181 appear more three-dimensional whereas the ones in #244 are more 2-D, and arranged in a completely different layout. They all use complete different fonts, serifs, and layouts, so you can't even insinuate theft, which is what is being claimed.

If you want to start comparing apples to apples, then you can even stake claim that #129 looks like #40. Dollars to donuts, each of the designs in this competition will be comparable if things went on long enough, and we'd be talking mere colour shade differences.

Congratulations to the winner for the ingenuity displayed! Your designs are beautiful.

P.S. For the record, my dollar store cup supplied the circles for #244.

it's been an amazing few days watching all of your designs evolve. you are truly a talented group of designers and i feel fortunate that we'll be using one of your designs to launch our business.

as we enter the home stretch, wanted to provide some feedback. our favorite designs (in no particular order) are #129, #123, and #49. they really deliver on clean, fresh, and contemporary.

color - leaning towards orange (like in #123) or green (like in #111). logo should be 1-2 colors (if 2, both should be in same color family).

font - non-cursive/curly. prefer block letters (like #49, etc)

graphic element - the best designs have one graphic in the logo. this has been the biggest area of discussion. we're looking for something simple but isn't necessarily a literal interpretation of 'spring'. we went back and forth on the use of flowers and butterflies. they seem to work better when they're simple and bold (#49 and #123 are headed in the right direction). shapes/ graphics/ patterns that don't have a specific tie to 'spring' work too (sorta like #129). ultimately, it should be simple, bold, and simple.

thanks for your consideration. keep up the great work!
