Brief Summary

We need a clean, clear logo design for "True Wind Publshing" with a tropical/wind/sailing theme for letterheads, email signatures, and shipping labels. We hope to work with the winner to fine tune the winning logo. Later, it will be developed into a brand for bookjackets and our website.

Last minute idea - Anyone want to try some designs with backgrounds of various classic sailing ships (clipper, square rigger, etc.) with "True Wind" in gold italic script overlaying it?

    Decision Time! First, we want to thank all those creative individuals who submitted an entry and many who went on to submit variations based on our feedback. It has been a very enjoyable experience. We were somewhat overwhelmed (in an exciting way) at the number and quality of the entries received. We wish you all the best.

    Envelope please ... It came down to a dificult decision between several talented designers. And the winner is ... (please excuse the theatrics) #97 by year_ago_today !!!

    We hope you will all join us in a book cover contest that we plan to run soon.

    Thanks so much for all the great entries. It's wonderful to see all this creativity. We have edited the contest a little to reflect things we've learned so far. We hope that the winner will work with us to fine tune the winning design. We added that we want the logo to present a classic, refined image and that we don't want anything whimsical. There are several designs so far that we really like. It will be hard to choose one.

    Most of the designs we have liked have cursive font but we also like the regular font in #39.

    Haha nice idea foordeiz. But i think the sail looks a bit weird.
