    Submitted design #24

For your consideration. This is a more or less basic geometric icon which is meant to represent a set of roof houses. By virtue of shape arrangement, the red roofs together with the rounded squares form human figures, being sheltered under gray double roofs. The direction of the shapes also point upwards, which is the main point of this agency... to uplift the homeless through its services and programs. May be simple but full of meaning. Feedback please.

This is a more "upbeat" and hopefully provides a "fresh perspective" to services. You may read the discussion or not, but I hope the icon says it all: The graphic represents 2 human figures with arms met, as if in support of each other or in celebration. What's unique with this arrangement is that the negative space between these 2 figures forms the shape of the house. The heads of the figures are modified so that one can represent the sun, while the other the environment. I hope you like it... colors may be modified. Will be uploading a monochrome version with the full name.

#25 is very nice. This one is definitely one of the top submissions. Thank you for taking a fresh approach

These are definitely on to something. Could you try a version of #26 with an oval head for the figure on the right (like the one on the left) rather than the finger like extensions?

One concern is that it may be a bit too festive for this topic - perhaps by toning down the right figure's head, and maybe trying a more restrained color palette (maybe with just 2 colors) it would achieve the appropriate tone.

Toned down on the "festive" part, modified the head of the right figure and chose a more serious palette.

Just to give you a head's up on how this is going to go down:
We're going to share a few different designs with the client and let them tell us what they like (and what they don't). Even though this contest is closing in the next couple days, it'll be a week or so before we share them with the client. So stay tuned, and thanks for your input.

Congrats, revcruz...the client liked yours the best #28. I'd like to award the prize to you, and then proceed with some minor revisions based on the client feedback (and give you a little extra cash to cover your time for those changes).
I'm not sure how this works (this is our first time using the site), but perhaps it would be easier to communicate directly via email.
Could you send me a note at tom@getrevealed.com when you get a chance?
    Thanks.
