This is a great start, I'd like to see it developed further, perhaps with different characters coming out of the box. Also, I'd like to see more of a font treatment with an emphasis similar to #14 - with all caps and ANIME highlighted.

Ok, some feedback. I like the color emphasis of the new logos. I like the panda and the sumo mascots. I'd like to see another pose or two that could show how these characters could be used throughout the site (see the monkey on the tokyotoys.com site). Also, I'd like to see some additional font treatments. Haven't quite hit on the right fonts... I'm looking for something that has the character and personality of an anime title...
So far you have a long lead ahead of anyone else.
I still really like your characters better than the others. How flexible are they? I'd like to see other font styles and some additional poses on the characters, if possible?

Jimmy, I love your work on the panda. Also, I like the way dare_2k7 is developing the personalities of her panda and monkey character. I wonder if it would be possible to do the same with the panda and sumo? I am picturing the two dressing up in anime costumes on one page of the site, fighting like kids on another page, etc. and developing their personalities over several months on pages and in ads. What do you think? Possible?
