I worked on the edit page a bit. Perhaps you like this better.

I put in a new background that is much less busy. I may still see what I can come up with as a background. I went with a different shade of blue for the headers and the for the top.

one more thing. we prefer the light bubbles to the new background design. we feel it it a bit too distracting. thanks!

KimKiyaa,
Thanks for all the new designs and the different color options included above. I feel like we have been drifting away a bit from what we liked so much about #24. I will try to provide some feedback to try to get us back to something that connects with us again.1) There are now too many colors on the new designs. There are six different colors of #48 and it feels a bit busy. It would be helpful to try to scale that back to the more straightforward design found in #24.
2) We still see a very severe shine in the header behind the yasnap logo. can we try to mute that a bit and/or go to a solid background?
3) we like the star system and the fonts.
4) It would be good to see those concepts applied to #20 as well. We haven't seen an update on that one lately.
5) We have seen some designs for the "edit app" page that have been appealing to us which use a side by side design instead of a top and bottom approach. You might try implementing that design to see if the information can be presented more effectively.We really appreciate all your contributions so far and hope we can get a winning design.

This design is a top contender.
However, the blue color still isn't what we are looking for. Maybe you can whip out a couple alternatives before we have to decide?
Also, we don't like the all caps. Try title caps, or even all lower case. I know that we can change that stuff ourselves later, but the closer we can get to the final version, the easier it is to imagine as our ultimate design.
Good luck - we are deciding later today on the winner I believe.

Thanks for the feedback again, and I have new revisions.
1. There is a new background that you may like. If you want to see a good view of it, click the link for the homepage preview.
2. I organized the virality section a bit better.
3. I also changed the section headings again. Instead of the baby blue, there is now a grayish-blue color, which might be the muted color you wanted.
4. I felt the design needed a bit more color than just all blue, so I made headings in the virality section that has different colors. I also changed the colors of the text that go along with the star system. I think that might be it.Here is the link to the second content page after revision:

Bubbles are better than the previous background, but they aren't perfect. Butterflies would be bad I think. We want something more stylized and *not* realistic. The general family of background is good: e.g., a white background with faint line design of some sort. Font is good too.
More importantly, can we try a different color than baby blue? Also, the diagonal line texture is too much for me. Try this first, please!
Small nit: the preview shouldn't be centered. I think it would look better somewhere more on the left side.
Stars are great - another innovation that you've come up with that I love. Color should match the general design, and dark blue seems appropriate given the rest of the design.
