Brief Summary

Basically, what we have here is a website http://www.sblocal.com that also has an Online Shopping area and a BLOG; http://sblocal.typepad.com and I want to integrate the three sites. the Shop is http://ShopSBLocal.com - So the Logo needs to have the SHOP & BLOG parts removable from the main SBLocal.com part, and not interleaved. You can show just ONE Design with SHOP or BLOG included just for show.

A web 2.0 design with reflection or banner type logo is something I'd like to see - get creative. It's not really a Surfing community per se, but it is the Beach. check out the Sites listed and see if you want to work with this one.

So you can see that I have a photograph gallery that sells photographs and a DVD of the area with the growing BLOG . . . I want to show the many various areas available. Without making it a Navigational item.

Final file format preferred: PSD - CS2 and above. & at least 880px X 220px to cover the BLOG & SHOP Pages.

    Sorry that I don't have any sample ideas yet to post here. I know that the possibilities of different designs will come through - I will try to find examples if you can't come up with something.

    DBratsch: I like thw concept, except for the fonts are too overpowering and I'm not really digging them Bevels.

    AlliedScape: The Logo is interesting yet seems to much like a Gym logo and the Type almost reads like LOCAL making for some confusion of the Site URL. Nice Concept though.

    On the Ratings : You hate them, I hate them - I hate using them . . . so it's up to me to try to offer direction about the design. Until I see more offerings I will try to give as much direction as I can.

    I can't see the logo I want! But I have a vague idea of it. It could be something from iStock for a background, but then again I want customized about Santa Barbara.

    I hope too much information is better then not enough information.

    I'd also like to state that I am a BIG Apple Fan - I love the reflections in their Designs and the Black, Greys, and Photo Treatments used on the Apple.com site. BIG APPLE FAN!!
