    Can anyone tell me WTF means fruit in logo? I know it's from MS's site, that they use oranges, but what's the idea with them in logo?

    Oh wow - so much really good logos! This will be a hard decision at the end. I wnat to thank all for the participation and the hard work. Please excuse the eleminations without feedback in same cases - its just a question of missing time.

    Ok, I have to say something at the risk of being unpopular. I'm new here so maybe this is just how it goes, but I think this contest is an example of where this site goes wrong. I don't think a design contest should be about refining everyone's entries until they all look the same. The benefit to the contest holder of a design contest is they get all kinds of different ideas and approaches to the same problem. When a contest gets so far along where the feedback is so specific, the result is that there basically isn't an original design in the whole lot. Sure, there are different combinations of oranges in an envelope, to the side of an envelope, and envelope with a leaf on top, but they are all just minor variations of the same basic design. I agree that the contest holder should get exactly what they want, but minor tweaks can take place after the winner is chosen. I don't think we need 18 rounds of back and forth "ok, this one with the orange 2 pixels to the left" and "this one with a slightly more orange shade of orange". I think the contest holder can use their imagination a little bit. Either they like the concept or they don't. Doing speculative work is hard enough on the designers without spending countless hours going through the very minor final touches on a design that ultimately isn't going to win.

    Just my 2 cents. Sorry for the rant.

    I'm new to 99designs and I agree with you on that one OctoberOne. Sometimes other designers copy other designer's design and they end up winning the contest. I've seen this happen here a few times. People just incorporate changes that the CH liked about other designs and they added to their logo or design and all of the sudden its a new cool design that gets even more stars.

    You are right. This is also our first contest and something went wrong. One problem is for sure that we gave too specific feedback and so this way the contest was conducted to a specific direction.

    Exactly!!! i agree completely with you guys, And having expressed that i feel the contest holder can think of reopening the contest and let it last the complete time(the maximum time allowed by '99designs.com') hopefully we can expect to see some original designs.

    With all due respect to your decision and choice, i do not recomend this if you are totally convinced Mr.'deepinvent'.

    As i know one think.

    A logo is an identity like a name, it should carry the potential of not having to change EVER!!!(slight modifications are ok)

    AS ONE HAS TO LIVE WITH IT FOREVER!!!

    PS: 'falconrebel!' this comment is completely professional with the objectives a client carries.

    I completely agree with quad-a the contest should have lasted the complete time before they made a decision. I was extremely angered as I was getting to upload the work I produced and worked on for hours did not have a chance. 99designs should look into it.
    I have been left with disgust and feel discouraged to get involved in any more contests because of this.

    This is also my first participation in a contest. Not knowing any better, I've submitted 4 designs- 3 of which are variations, but progressively better. In looking at the deadline, I went back and added a forth to show proxy, server, etc.
    I'm glad this happened the first time out and will approach this differently on future submissions.
