Brief Summary

We want to give a "refresh to our logo". (link to current logo is in contest "description"). We definitely want to (1) keep a cross on the logo, (2) keep "newhope" as one word, (3) use lowercase letters, (4) have "hope" be in a bold font. We're open to colors, but we want something that works well both over white or over a background color. You can try both with "church" as a second word, but it doesn't have to be there.

    Like I said, I already had these made up BEFORE you had submitted yours, I only didnt submit mine right away cause i had to leave and didnt have time to submit. An hour later i go to submit and you got yours up.. It is a common font however, and when I was making them I was surprised no one else had done a combined cross and "h" yet. Im not sure how the water element makes it harder to belive me. Its just another variation I had made up to give them more options. Again, I apologize.

    it is totally the same, also adding a water-like element under the logo makes it really hard for me to believe what you say.
    but anyway, it is ok. may be you are right, this always happen with some works...
    in the end, this is no good for your credibility, so please try to watch the other works before you submit a work.
