We're looking for a homepage design and 2 secondary pages (category listing and a individual business listing) design for an online directory of t-shirt printers. The prize is guaranteed. Your goal is to deliver awesome.

This contest is for the DESIGN ONLY. Someone else will do the actual coding.

    9. It's not that it takes loads of time to design it, it's that right here is 00.25 and I am going to sleep. Tomorrow is office day and After I get home I can do it. I am pretty speedy, working in this field for a good number of years so I am pretty used to work as fast as possible.

    11. I left this out of the initial brief writing (it's in there now), but please make sure the background color behind the main content area (where the categories go) is WHITE (#FFFFFF)

      The other color accents can be a background behind that area or within that area, but I want the main content text to be on a white background.

      Just scrolling down quickly through the thumbnails, the one that catches my eye is from trigz (because of the green bar).

      Designers, don't be afraid to use complimentary colors in the design to help give it personality :)

    20. After I finish rating all the designs and leaving feedback, I will also start trimming down the designs left for consideration.

      If your design has 4 stars or more and is still left a couple hours from now, it would be a good idea to show the layouts for the CATEGORY LISTING page and the INDVIDUAL BUSINESS LISTING pages.

    25. Wow, that took longer than I thought to go through and leave feedback for all the entries from the weekend.

      Some very nice entries were submitted, and I think I got all caught up with rating and eliminating designs.

      At this stage, the entries should start to include the CATEGORY LISTING and INDIVIDUAL BUSINESS LISTING layouts as part of the entry.

      Only entries that have all 3 page layout entries can be considered for the prize.

      This is going to be a really tough decision. There are some really awesome (and creative) layouts entered and it seems more are coming in all the time!

    46. Wow, this was sooooo much tougher than I thought.

      There were so many 4 and 5 star worth entries that literally "nailed" the design brief specs, it had to come down to pretty subjective decision and a lot of "re looking" at the designs from different perspectives.

      Even though it seemed to come down to just 2 designs, the ones that were several 4 and 5 star designs were super hard to narrow down.

      The very nature of contests though is that lots of great entries will have to be narrowed down to one.

      Congrats to roldanh for his winning design! There are still some minor revisions, but this is the design that we're going to move forward with.

      Also congrats to siteograph. I had such a hard time picking just "ONE", that I decided to pick TWO :)

      roldanh's winning design will be used for this project and I hope to work with siteograph to slightly revise his design (for the same payment amount) to work with another directory project I've been running for a few years. I think siteograph's design will give my existing directory a fresh new look.

      So congratulations to both winners and thank you again to everyone who entered!
