on a white background
I prefer #7 out of the 3 you submitted. Not crazy about the font used for "Ari's Giant Party". Would rather see more of a "football" or "varsity" font similar to the logo displayed in the brief. Remove drop shadow and change blue background to the darker olive green. How about adding orange for the "XIII" on the football?
will do...

orange has been added, and the font has been changed.

color scheme. If you have a specific olive green, I can try to match it.
Looking good.... I'll get back to you with a PMS color to try to match for the green colors. In the meantime, can you work on the football -- it looks a bit one-dimensional. Maybe it needs some texture and depth? Also, I'm thinking about changing the word party to "day" or "event" because the bar mitzvah is more than just a party. Any other suggestions?
For the greens, play around with the following PMS colors: 367, 364, 371, 378, 385

Alrighty, texture and highlights have been added to the football. I changed "party" to "event." And I changed the greens to the 367, and 378. The other olives seemed too dull.
I'd prefer a darker/deeper olive for the background -- no gradient. It's ok if it's a bit duller...that will match the invitation color.
Also, instead of the white outline around the text, how about using orange?

Orange could work, though i'm not too sure.
definitely like the orgage accent better than white. i like the latest version. let me think about it some more and see if i have any other changes
what about "BASH" instead of "EVENT"? the number might work out better anyways in order to keep GIANT in the middle

I added lines to represent a field in the background to help fill the space. I can take this further, or drop it if you want.
I'm not sure what size stamp to fit this to, but I found this website which has a variety of sizes listed. http://www.zazzle.com/custom/stamps
I like the background. How would you take it further without getting too busy? Yes, that's the website I'm using for stamps. I even mentioned it in the brief.
For stamps, I'll be ordering both the small and medium sizes. (The medium size will go on the outside invitation envelope and the small size for the RSVP envelope.) The image area on the medium size is rectangular which will work well with this logo. The small stamp is a square 1.1" x 1.1" so the image may be a bit small. But we can make it work I'm sure.
I will also be using the logo in other ways -- gift bag labels, hang tags, etc. So for these, the logo will need to be larger with better resolution than the stamps.

I ran the design through the stamp setup, and it seems to fit nicely.
the 3x4 and 1x1 here
I'm working with a file that is 6x8" at 300dpi. so that should be large enough for anything.
Love it!

Cleaned up around the edges and texture.

Great. Minor adjustment -- make sure the dark green border is even on all sides. It looks like the top is thinner than the bottom and sides. I will also need a version without the square background. Also, what color is the light green? (closest pms?)
One more suggestion: How would this look if the background (green field and lines) ended right before it hit the football. This may "elevate" the football more rather than it looking flat on the field. Let me know if I'm being clear or you need me to explain further.
Disregard my comment about the border. When I clicked on the image and opened it in full size, the border is fine.

Is this what you mean? Lines are cut short around the logo.
The border lines are PMS 385. The feild lines in between are closer to 581.
Yes, that was almost what I meant...but I also suggested the green background stopping with the lines -- so it appears white or light green around the logo image.
In terms of the green color, I was asking about the light green used for "GIANT". What color is this?
Submitted design #25
Here are two variations of a white border.
The light green text for "GIANT" is pms 367, which was also used for the date.

a blur
The orange inside the text makes the green appear slighty different.
