Dod's! Great to see your design! Thanks for joining the contest!
#38: I really like your latest news section. It's a great design that sets it apart from the other designs. I don't know about including our contact info in the banner. I would rather see a creative use of the banner. The blended mouse looks great though!
I think the Company Tagline section is a little too big. I would like to shrink it a little It takes up over a third of the page when you add in the banner. Let's take it down in size a little.
I DO NOT like the choice in font. It's distracting and cheap looking. Let's try something different. The setup is great, but the font is not! lol
I have a slight problem. If we're going to include our services, we would need to include inspections as a service. What would you suggest in doing with the bottom? Maybe just one of them could be an "Our Services", or make a list of them with a graphic to the left. I like the design but it's all or none of them. The color scheme is great though!
What suggestions would you have to make it better? I'm looking for design tips and suggestions from you! Please PM me!
This is a well done first design. I can't wait to see your next design. Let's try to include a little green in the design. Tastefully of course!!

#49: I think that I would rather have the menu bar at the top of the design, just under the banner. I tend to look for the menu bar there and I had to look for this one.
As for the login... If we had completed the database back end yet, that would be great, unfortunately it's more of a "coming soon" feature and we probably shouldn't include it on the home page other than the login menu link.
I really like the Web 2.0 on the logo! You're probably the only one that took the liberty of doing that!
I don't know about the placement of the phone number. We might want to incorporate it somewhere else a little less obtrusive. I like the mouse in the banner, but let's try a different picture in the banner... It doesn't look bad.. but it doesn't impress either.
Let's center the grey logo in the bottom banner and put each of the links two on each side (Home|Service|Logo|FAQ|Contact Us)
I think I prefer May 12, 2008 instead of 2008.05.12. Let's try all three (include 12 May 2008) and see which one looks better in the design.
Based on your previous designs, what elements am I lacking that you would recommend including in the design?
#49: I very much like the re-designed graphic area with the hand in the water! Very sharp re-design!
