Brief Summary

We're looking for logo design for a dating site called "yumbunny". The slate is clean, we're looking for fresh new ideas that use that name to iconify a great, modern, not-too-stuffy dating site.

    ATTENTION DESIGNERS:

    This was an incredibly difficult contest to judge! Yet, I'm happy to announce that the winning concepts will be #122 and #127. Congratulations to Jay037 and Panda! We'll be following-up with you both offline to be sure you can deliver SVG designs and accept payments.

    It caused me physical pain to eliminate some of these-- they are so very professional and clever.

    BONUS: It's not much, but as a thank-you, we're going to offer all submitters (who didn't retract their images) some free access to YumBunny's premium dating services once the site launches later this year. You'll be able to transfer it to friends if you're not interested in dating, but we just had to do something to show our appreciation for all your work.     Hey brin! Thanks for the feedback. Courts have ruled in different ways about the copyright fair use laws in regards to artist portfolios, so it's not as cut-and-dry as you make it sound, especially under specific arrangement.

    That being said, we fully support allowing the winning/non-winning artists to use these designs in their graphic design portfolios. Many of these are absolutely wonderful and you should get credit in school and in industry.

    We *do* require exclusive copyright on the winning designs, though, but we consider personal/firm work portfolios to be "fair use". If the artist uses the work in a respectful way that doesn't violate or strain typical fair use guidelines, then we're quite happy with that arrangement.

    Thanks again for the response and all of the wonderful designs. The great artwork really makes things difficult to choose.

    LabsCorporate FYI:

    the Designers by law are permitted to use the logos they create in their portfolio. Even the ones that don't make the cut.

    But I am sure you aren't talking about that. In case, you were though.

    Unofficial Judge:

    Wow LOTS of awesome and fun designs! Nice execution. Some are cheesy and need work.

    My favorite is artess #155 --- that is witty and makes me laugh. I love it!

    But i am not the paying customer here. So my opinion Does not matter.

    Nice Job everyone!!!
