    Thanks for taking the time to put this new idea in Gavin. It's good but I've been hearing about the football on the news a lot this week and now can't get the idea of a football out of my head when I see this. I won't send my e-mail address as I'm not sure if that would be frowned upon here. The contest has gone so well that I wouldn't want to rock the boat so I'll take a rain check for now. Cheers.

    Gav, it hurts me to reject a design from someone with such a great name, you had a big head start ;)

    I do like this but, as you say, time is ticking away and in order to bring the number of entries down to manageable levels I've had to make some tough choices. You've clearly given this some thought and I like the colours and the eastern design. My only reservation was that I wondered if the logo would retain clarity when it's shrunk down. The hand and lens icon is OK at this size but if I was going to reduce it to a favicon, for example, I think it might not survive. Other than that, i liked it and if you have time to send anything else then I'd be keen to see it. Cheers.

    My entry. I wanted to capture the essence of your work by showing the lens coloured with reds and browns and the eastern design stemming from it. Hope it works. I do have more but time is running out. will try and subm,itt them asap.
