By rounding out the hard edges on the tree samples you linked to and keeping the whole image minimalist, I tried to go with a modern yet soft look. I varied the tree colors as a simple way to communicate the idea of the different seasons, with the one green branch on the last tree representing new growth as well as introducing a soft color burst.
