Templates:

Home Page

Please use the following as a GUIDE for the elements we want on the home page. These elements DO NOT need to be placed as they are now; for example, your design could have the navigation on the top, and the events on the left; etc." (http://72.52.120.140/index.php)

Inside Page

http://72.52.120.140/board.php We believe that this page is representative of the site's elements that we need a design for: lists with headings, subheadings, text, images, etc.

Style:

Looking for something contemporary, innovative, sophisticated, and appealing to law students and attorneys. Needs to be a really clean design with good white-space/negative-space. "white-space" does not necessarily mean lots of white. White-space or negative space means that the elements on the page are spaced nicely and not too busy or crowded. The site will have lots of text and it should be easy to read, not crowded.

Logo:

You can download a copy here. PM us if you cannot open one of these files. They are saved as AI CS3 and AI EPS CS2.  Feel free to use the "PALS" portion of the logo.

Color scheme:

The color scheme should complement the logo.

Section Headings:

All text (e.g., section headings) should be HTML so that the site can be indexed by search engines, accessible, and use low bandwidth. We will consider graphical text elements if they really add a lot to the site.

Navigation:

Will consider top navigation/menu bar or a combination of top navigation with left or right side section navigation.

Layout/Dimensions:

920px - 940px wide. Will also consider fluid layout.
File Formats:

Photoshop .psd is required. Layers in files must be intact, well organized and labeled clearly. Text layers should be unrendered.

XHTML/CSS Templates:

We are looking for a designer that really understands CSS layout and design. It is important the the design be done in such a way that it can be converted efficiently to CSS.

Important:

* your designs must be original and anything that looks like it was modified from a commercial template will not be accepted.
* as always, you should not contact the client for any reason.
