    Hello!

    Font:
Helvetica Light and Bold for simplicity, sober and business feel. Slightly tightend and slightly altered; the dot over the i.

    Colors:
Totally interchangeable, greyscales will give a bit of a sleek feel, reds will make it stand out more, greens/yellows for softer happier feel.

    Background:
Can be changed into a gradient for Web 2.0 look, although I feel that that trend is passing.

    Thoughs behind the design:
A pitch that works is like a firework, directly flaring in a dark sky. And it also blows your mind, like an explosion. It also breaks the monotomy of the logo and gives it distinction from others logos in Helvetica (as you know, there are quite a few). The explosion is from a Creative Commons licenced brush set, so a licence is probably required, if this is not acceptable I am prepared to design a unique explosion.

    I hope you like it!

    Best regards
    /Kristoffer Bergfelt

  2. Kristofer, develope your idea and integrate the page header to. Maybe the background color is too dark? I like the "dot"...go on!

    Hi again!

I implemented your suggestions, the background color is a little bit lighter and the flare/explosion more prominent. I made a quick site mock-up and added a tagline, please bear in mind that I am not a copywriter.. The flare can also be used as a location signal of where the user is in the menu, as shown in the left vertical menu. I do not know if this is overdoing it though. If it is not, it is possible to use the flare as part of more communication items, PowerPoint backgrounds and such.

    Best regards
    /Kristoffer

  4. Sure you did, and this in nice. Well done. If you have time and will, try a complementary white color to the blue. Can be useful...
