    Can you explain what "soberly but in the same time distinct" means?
    sorry, it seems a bit cryptic.

    And just incase you're worried, wait a few days and you should see some traffic coming in. I noticed that there are a lot of last minute contenders here. I dont know if they like to lag, or wait until you give enough feedback/concepts that other people can springboard off of.

  7. how to explain soberly, but in the same time distinct. that's a tricky one, when it's all about my personal feelings...so what do I mean? Our clients and creatives will dominate on mypitch.com, we are just the arena = soberly touch. In the same time, I don't want our logo to be sissy and not memorable = distinct.

    is it more clear? I hope so :D

  9. @ CH - Just a suggestion, I think if you were to eliminate the ideas which you arent going to consider at all it should make contestants less likely to produce stuff that you definately do not want. It would be both helpful to us, and yourself. Jay.

  18. hahaha, I understand you. Of course it's not outside the box. But if you read the brief once more, you will see number 96 upfills many other criteria. Don't you agree? I'm a bit tired of conventional speech and thought bubbles, question marks, stars and so on...if you like symbols, try to think outside the box. Surprise me and coming Mypitch visitors.

I'm a little stumped on the three stars for the head with the brain....???? perhaps for a website for games, brain twisters, or health related, but a bit too literal (in your face) I think if your trying to visually communicate ideas bursting from the brain or something (I didnt read the comments to explain, which is better, as I can see it more objectively, like someone visiting the site for the first time)......studiobudi I'm so sorry..I hate to say that, but trying to find out what CH is thinking, if you were headed to win, I'm sure CH wont change his mind because of my opinion only....so sorry :(

  24. zoey I agree...the ch told me he wanted something professional, and I just don't see that with the brain...it kind of reminds me of the board game...um scategories I think? It would not attract me as a creative to go to that site at all,

    To jay415, many designers will enter the same design into the contest just with variations to see exactly what the ch wants, or perhaps the ch asked to see the changes, because it isn't exact...so no problems there, it's a fun design...although the CH told me he wanted professional nothing cartoony? This contest doesn't make sense!

  25. I love all your comments, even though some of them challenge my taste and sense. Go on, this is a seven days long process. A work hard to comment all the entries and rate them, why? because you perform better and better. It's amazing interesting.

    After three days about I've chosen four different kind of logos. We have a head and brain, a simple sign, a butterfly and a energetic chair. Maybe some more. Tomorrow it's maybe five, or six, different categories. Who knows?

    My highest rating is for the moment 3 stars. A want at least two top ranked. But we are not there yet...but the remaining entries have potential. In my eyes.

    I'm still looking for a professional and stylish logo, which surprise and fascinate me. Four days left...Ask me lot of questions, I'll try to answer them. But it's hard describing personal feelings when you aren't a pro.

    @ Jay415 - It's called evolving an idea. That's why we post designs and the CH comments on them. That way we can make amendments to the design, you'll notice each one is different, and I'm about to submit some more...

  35. I lol'ed at #217. The 'logo' is just a brush and no effort whatsoever was put into it. I get angry when CH's give 4 stars to pathetic 'logos' Also how would this logo be transferred into illustrator?

    i like the IDEA of it.. but to me the way it reads right now it's liek a cloud of dust or because it's yellow... POLLEN.

    I couldn't dream of the response I got form our logo competition on 99 Designs. It was deadly fun, but in the same time a hard work. I hope you feel the same, despite my problems to express my personal and unprofessional feelings.

    Many of you got low rating multiple times during the process, but you didn't gave up. And some of you was rewarded when you developed and improved your work. I'm impressed.

    Mypitch will be a strong competitor to 99designs from now on. We haven't as many contests as 99designs, but the prize money is many times higher - between 3 000 to 5 000 euro, or 4 600 to 7 700 dollar. And our clients are well known.

    Now me and my staff have decided the winner, but it wasn't easy at all. We had entries between weird blue birds and engraved brains to highly professional and clean illustrations of Mypitch. Some logos are undeveloped concepts with high potential, meanwhile others are ready for use from day one.

    After many ifs and buts, we had three final entries: gollne, evilwing24 and Terry Boga. But only one could win this contest and the justification reads: "The winner of 500 dollar and honor is evilwing24, who created a logo that combines creativity and professionalism, sobert and rigour, speed and simplicity in the best possible way, according to our liking.

    CONGRATULATION. We will contact you soon...

    I hopefully we meet each other again, as a winner on mypitch.com?
