Brief Summary

International trade association with a membership base in need of an updated logo concept for members. The logo itself will stay the same. Colors and shape must stay the same.

With different levels of membership we need to have a design created that can be customized for the different uses.

International trade association with a membership base in need of an updated logo concept for members.  The logo itself will stay the same.  Colors and shape must stay the same.

With different levels of membership we need to have a design created that can be customized for the different uses.

  • ATRA Nationwide Warranty Provider

Currently we put the words in the bottom portion of the logo (as you will see in the example), but that doesn't explain to a consumer what it means.  For example, a Rebuilder Member offers a warranty.  But, that logo says ATRA Member and doesn't clearly state the warranty information.

We aren't sure the direction this logo needs to go other than it needs to have meaning when it is seen by a consumer.

We will need the art in a vector format for each of the styles upon completion of the project. 

Please have fun with it and I will post feedback regularly on likes and dislikes to help guide towards something we can use.

The winner will be considered for future work as a designer with our organization so get creative and show us your stuff!

Wants
  • some sort of a seal style border with the ATRA logo in or aorund it with a banner or ribbon that can be labeled with the different phrases
  • something that can be used on a dark background without a glow or shadow effect behind the logo
  • Needs to be clearly recognizable when driving by a building.
  • maybe incorporating some type of gear....but not necessary. 
  • Automotive style
  • Blue, Red and Metal or Gray coloring will be considered.
  • shapes such as rectangles, circles or ovals
  • use of metal shades as backgrounds
  • the ability to be able to add 5 stars in the logo to signify a higher rated shop.
Don't Wants
  • don't alter the current ATRA logo rather enhance it
  • something that is unreadable when reduced to 1/4x1/4 inch
  • cartoon like designs
