Submitted design #28
my entry
we liked #28. it's simple and clean as well as youthful and fun. we would love to see some different color treatments. also, we have been talking a lot about the hanging portions of the y and p being mirrored. Is there anyway you might be able to experiment there? nice work.
in addition to other color treatments, we would welcome different bolding treatments for #28. the standalone font (without the bubbles) seemed to be a bit too light.

Kandina, some comments from the team:
"I really like these.
39: The extra interior border looks really good on these, especially in the red one on top, because it creates more contrast.
40: I don't like the interior border as much here because it makes them both look a bit softer
41: Still good contrast here, especially on the top red one.
42: I'm drawn more to the top green one here again because of the contrast.
My favorites of all of these: 39 top (red w/ interior border), 44 top (green w/o interior border).
The variations I'd like to see here is one without the reflection and one with a drop shadow instead."
"Excellent designs. Can you experiment with some pink colors as well? (like #FF43A7) In general, I think the gradient background is a little too strong; perhaps less extreme gradient would help. Maybe some with the interior border, but without the gradient? And then some with only a subtle outer gradient, and no inner border. Also, can you move the 'y' closer to the 'a' so that that spacing looks more similar to the other letter spacings? So far, my favorite colors have been the reds and maroons. Can you incorporate some sort of subtle 3d effect similar to what Rod Rego has done in #36? Regardless, thanks, and don't be afraid to surprise us with something new."
"Nice designs. I previously asked about tilting the "y" a little to give "fangs" look. Can you try anything there? Also, I would love to see some more color variations. Also, can you try placing the logo in a rectangle without the bubbly border? thanks!"

thanks for the new designs. we think you took a step backward here. we liked the clarity of the original design and feel like this has moved toward a more cluttered look. would you like to try these again?

thanks for the additional designs, but we still haven't seen this design in any exciting colors that catch our imagination. it would be good to see a few versions of #115 in the light blue and pink that others have been using. it might be interesting to see them in primary/secondary colors. We continue to be fans of the design, but I think these are losing a little bit of favor due to the color choices. thanks.
