I have really gone off the shape of the logo - sorry.
I also am going off the font, i am now thinking something a bit more modern retro (i know, oxymornon). anyway, they are my thoughts so far. -

thanks for your feedback.
i replaced the plane with some more simple birds. these birds now not only look like birds but you also could see some (red) clouds from above. i also used some brighter colours - with these new colours the logo looks a bit like lips ;) -
