Hi, thanks for the feedback! I can make the logo a seperate element if you'd like. Sometimes people like the graphic being a part of the name...I was just trying it out. But I can gladly show you an alternative. I'll submit another version a little later today. Thanks!

Hello! Here's a variation with the graphic element outside the text so you can see the difference. Personally, I like them both and I think they both work. It just depends what your preference is. If you have any other suggestions or if you would like to see any other ideas please let me know, I'm happy to work on this logo. Cheers!
I forgot - I wanted to mention that the lines behind the water drop are meant to suggest the ground - from the surface to getting deeper underground. It's pretty understated and abstract but that was the idea behind arranging the graphic that way. Thanks!

I've added a few variations for you to look at. I've used lower case letters as requested, and done both upper and lower for the "hydrology associates" part. I've also picked some different colors, in case you would like to see that...and on the top two I've done some shades of blue for the logo. If you are trying to stick to two colors this may not be an option but I though it looked nice.

Here is a revised business card and letterhead for you to look at, I've also done the logo and graphic on a darker background. There are two versions of the water drop, one dark and one light. Is there anything else I could show you?
