Discussion

  1. Feedback for everyone:

First, I would like the designers to supply us will a full block of graphics and be aware of the cut outs and use them as an overlay but not design each small piece indendpendently.

My client would be interested in buying more than one design.

  2. #3 Great first try. I would like to see a different color palette using greens, browns and some yellow. The elements of the design are good.

#2 Good design. I would like a version with fewer trees and more of the dinosaur bodies. I would possibility like to see some ferns or palm leaf designs in the vegetation. Try a change of the sky color.

  4. I'll submit something shortly, my design is actually one big block, I just cut it up to get a better idea of how the the elements would look once cut.

  5. Designers, my client would like to see the design without the cutout design. The cutout was only given as a reference as to how it will be cut after printing. Please show your design as it would be printed on a 5' x 6' piece of vinyl.

  6. HomberG: The bleeds are already included in the 5x6 dimensions.

My client likes #3 the best so far but it needs work.

The revised colors in #4 made yellow the predominant color. It is more yellow than I want. Some blue in sky might
work, put a hint of smoke or an explosion on the volcano and may be put a comet in the sky? The dino's silhouettes need to be darker in relationship to the back ground. I like the Trex head against the sun in this version.

I like #2 next but would like to see the changes I suggested.

#11 interest my client. Move the dinosaurs down so the head of the one on the left is entirely on the bottom panel

#7 Please put the design into the machine template

#10 Please pull the left dino fully back on the left side panel

#20 Please pull the center dino down so it is wholly on the bottom panel

At this moment our favorites are 3-10-20

  7. My client also loved the fact that Kari gave a visual of the machine with the wrap. Keep up the good work, and my client should have a winner chosen within 24-48 hours of contest ending.

  8. Revise #26: I like the colors with the exception of the beige dino on the front panel(primary color?) Use footprints and have them track around the cabinet. Put a Pterodactyl in the upper right hand corner.

  9. My client would really love to see a moch up of the machine like Kari has developed.

I have eliminated those designs that are no longer in the running. We're getting close...

  11. I would like to know what your target demographic is. Are you looking for realism or not? Is the example of what you have enclosed in the brief an example of what you are looking for, or just used to give us just an idea of machine dimensioning.

  12. My client is looking for either type of design, it just depends on what catches their eye. You'll notice that different types are in the running, and they are willing to buy more than one design.

  15. Congratulations Kari! It was a tough choice, and my client liked several things about everyone's design, but my client has chosen design #30 as the winner. Right now I'm having difficulty in "officially" awarding the prize. Please PM me your payment info and I'll get the award to you ASAP.
