- Brief Summary
-
Guys and Girls, If you've read this far we need you to design a great illustration to be featured as part of our beverage label. We require a scene of the old cane fields, captured in rough drawing, or woodcut etching in order to give our brand a great depth and background.
There will be great attention paid to this contest and to the winner, and feedback will be daily if not twice a day.
Ultimately this drawing will become 2d motion advertisement, so we are looking for a great image to work with.

Thanks to those who have submitted thus far, unfortunately these images are not exactly what we had in mind. Some of the designs have been copied from other people's images, and we don't have permission to use them in such a commercial way: so these designs will be taken out of the running.
You may see this contest again under logos, as perhaps that category better suits what we are after. Please feel free to enter again if inspiration hits; the requirements will still be the same.
Thanks again guys and girls. -

Unica, I agree with a couple of them, However, If you followed the feedback on my personal post board, you would see where I was asked to add more & then recently told some was too much.
I understand that not ALL concepts I submit will be chosen (And maybe NONE at all), however I feel I should at least provide several different concepts for the CH to choose from (Simple to Complex). I don't mind working Hard to reach a quality design in the eyes of a CH, besides, that's what they are paying for :)
Thanks you for your input, I won't however comment on your design, I guess I don't see the point in trying to critique someone else's design styles that's in the same contest as me. I'll leave that to the CH.
I Do wish all the designers the best of luck that Participate here :)

Let'em design. The contest holder should eliminate them if or when he/she notices they do or don't want it.

Alright twistie...II'll expect great things from you!!
I like the idea of the canecutter in the foreground, cane in the mid being worked and hills in the background.
There is two ways we are looking at incorporating this graphic: 1) as a stamp, seal or embossing that is an eyecatching "logo", or 2) as a major part of the label, such as background or picture. I don't want to limit or dictate the size or structure of the picture: just after bang for buck. If you can fit alot in a small space, or a strong stand alone graphic, we will consider all options put forward.
I'll try to keep giving you guys directions to concentrate your efforts.
