Unfortunately, I have not been able to end this contest yet. The original designer whose design we wanted to choose (with minor adjustments) did not respond to our requests for nearly 2 weeks. Before we heard back from the proposed winner, we had decided to go with a local firm due to the non-response.

In regards to your comments:

Even though we did not post secondary prizes in the contest listing, we did send out small payments to designers whose designs we liked the most, but were not chosen. We do like the community sourcing idea behind 99designs, we only regret that sometimes some designers will work hard and not be rewarded.

I have contacted 99designs directly as it is not clear to me how to end the contest without a winner.

We am negotiating with the winning designer for a couple of updates, and as soon as this is finished the winner will be declared. Thank you all for participating.

@Everyone. - Thank you for your submittals so far, I appreciate all of your creativity. If I have eliminated your design, please feel free to submit another idea. Really look into the technology, grace, and power of the motorcycle links that I have provided and let your creative juices flow.

#28 - This is good. I might like the other icon better. Let me ask some other opinions. :)

#29 & #30 - These are really good. Thank you. I think I lean more toward the icon design in #29, but I will ask around. Thank you for these. Submit more ideas and variations if you like.

Just thought about this: http://crankbrothers.com/ is one of my favorite logos of all time. So clean, so technical, but simple and unmistakeable. Give me something like this and $525 + future work is yours. Thanks! :)
