Brief Summary

Logo needed for our new web design / development company - Pico. The logo will initially be for the website, but will form the basis of the company's identity - i.e. business cards, headed paper, signage etc. However that's a whole other project, just concentrate on the logo for now.

Good Luck!

Brand Name
Pico
Description

We are a new web design / development company and are looking for a new logo which will represent us as a leading source of cutting edge design and development. The company is called  Pico. The name is purposely generic, short and simple and the logo should be too. The word Pico means 1 trillionth (10 to the -12th power) and reflects our focus on every tiny detail. This is NOT a tagline, but just a company mentality.

I think one of the main things is that we don't want to pigeon-hole ourselves as solely a design or solely a development house,  hence we are looking for a more generic logo.

We don't have any colour scheme, existing logo etc. so you are being given free reign to let your creative juices flow!! This logo will be the base that our corporate identity will be built on. I do prefer brighter colours though rather than the standard dull techy colour schemes. Feel free to come up with an icon, just an interesting twist on the word pico...whatever - all ideas will be considered.

I'll do my best to rate the designs as quickly as possible and give feedback on my likes / dislikes. I've tried to make the brief as thorough as possible, but will keep an eye on the comments and answer any questions you may have.
