Brief Summary

We are looking for a logo for a New York based website/blog about pixels. The title of the blog is “The Big Pixel” – a play on The Big Apple. We are looking for a strong and creative logo that features the complete title, “The Big Pixel” in a clear and easy to read format. We also want to the logo to make it obvious that the title is a play on NYC and The Big Apple.

    All.

    It was brought to my attention in a friendly and discreet way, that WTC should probably not have been included in my design because of the tragedy that occurred on 9/11.

    Being a NY-ker myself and being a survivor of that attack, (I was in 7WTC that day), I felt I wanted to keep the towers there as a loving memory.

    Please forgive any sad feelings that imagery has brought up to anyone. It was not my intention to hurt anyone. Trust me, I know first hand how horrible that day was. However, I won't depress anyone. I will keep the towers in my design with a fitting tribute. To myself and others, NYC skyline will always include WTC.
