Brief Summary

We are a new company changing our name to In Life. We are starting over with a new look and feel and need you to create a new logo for a company that promotes products for a healthier lifestyle.

    Hi Everyone! Thank you so much for submitting your designs. I appreciate each logo submitted because I realize it takes time and effort to create each one. Your efforts are very much appreciated however I guess there is a cerain "look" we are after so if your design is not considered please understand that it's just not what we may be seeking for us at this time. I am going to feel bad if I say that your design is not what we are looking for because each one is very creative so again I thank each one of you for considering this contest.

    Sorry it has taken awhile to get back to you. I am awaiting feedback from the rest of my colleagues to give you feedback all at once but since a considerable time has passed,I am going to take the liberty and just jump in and offer just my feedback so far. Please understand that the designs that I personally like or don't like doesn't necessarily mean the ones that will be chosen or not considered because I am not the only one with input on the final design.

    So with that being said..here are my thoughts so far:

    First, I just wanted to mention that you don't have to put the slogan "live the in life" in every design. It's not a for-sure slogan that we are going to use but we might use it. If we do use it, we'd like it to be very discreet like #3 used. It's small and not overpowering but the way it's used with small fonts was perfect.

    Okay, the next thing I'd like to say is that we really don't want anything with leaves in the theme. I know that leaves represent health and wellness companies, but I think we'd rather stay away from that look. We'd rather have a logo that doesn't look like "health and wellness' but we'd rather have sexy, hip or very classy!

    I'll say it again, we'd rather have a sexy, hip or classy look rather than health and wellness.

    Here are my thoughts so far: (please realize that these are just my opinions and I need to get a few other opinions before any final decision is made)

    So far #3 is going in the direction that I like. I like the use of the fonts (the small "in" and the capital word "Life". The only thing that I'm hesitant on is the heart. It's very clever how you incorporated the arrow pointing "in" the Heart (life) but can we take out the heart and use something else? What about an eliptical Blue globe? THen change the word Life to Blue too. A globe is a suggestion but please feel free to think of other things...i am not creative like you so feel free to experiment with things. You can have the arrow going in the globe if you want.

    #1 and #2 - these are nice and simple yet I'm not sure about the red swoosh. It seems alittle overpowering and takes away from In Life.

    #4 - I like your color choice. i think it looks clean and it's very easy to read but the waves are alittle too big and overpowering. How about a designing an element that is alittle smaller? I can see the gray in in nice silver. I like Blue and Silver together!

    #5 - This is nice... I like the font you used in all small letters but I think the person with the colored designs around it looks almost to feminine. Can you try using that same font without the person? Can you try that font in a different color like blue? Our boxes that carry the product are going to be White, Black or Silver so a color that looks good on those backgrounds would be great. For example, your design with the teal background wouldn't work for a color scheme.

    #6 This is not really the look we want but it's a nice design...It has that urban feel to it.

    #7 I like the way the word life is in cursive but I don't like the Red with the Gold. I'm also not crazy about the design element on top because it looks almoste "unbalanced" in a way. What if you made the word "in"
    in a non-cursive and used the cursive font or something simular for the word Life (Like you have)? Does that make sense? you don't have to put in the words "Live The".

    #8 This is clever with your use of a person walking "In" to "Life" but not exactly what I had in mind. The red font is probably something I'm not crazy about and the picture of the person. But I have to admit..that is a creative use of our name In Life and you did a good job of showing that but it's just not the look we are after.
    #9 and #10 You did a great job of creating a healthy worn look, but I think we wanted something more new,hip and sexy.

    #11 You are right when you said not a leaf in sight and thank you for paying attention to that but the green and red fonts don't really work well for me. This is a very cute design and you should be proud however, it's just not the look we are after.

    #12 Well these are nice but unfortunately we don't want anything with leaves. But I did like the ones in the middle the best.

    #13 This is interesting and I like the fonts that you used and the colors are pretty good too although I bet there are some other cool color combos that would look good too.

    #15, #16 - These are very nice and simple however I think it might be alittle too simple for the look we wanted. I like the black background design with the white design in your design #16.

    #17 - I like the font but I'm not sure about the design element. But it's very creative how you used the dot for the "i" in the element....I wish i was that creative to think of that!

    #18 - Thank you for submitting your design, but I think it's not the look we're after. I did like your sun though!

    #19 - This is nice and simple but the green connection, although very clever, is not really what I had in mind.
    You guys are really good with coming up with clever things like this!

    #20 Thank you for submitting! Can you change the color from pink to perhaps something like Blue or Green? Pink is too feminine. Also it should read In Life not In Live. One more thing, can you do that same logo without the "live the in life" on the bottom? Can you try one without it and then one that says "live the" on top very small and discreet like #3 did and then have "In Life" on the bottom. Does that make sense? I want In Life to stand out not the slogan.
    Can you try some other fonts? I do like that you used the dot on the "i" as the same color in your design element. It adds a little something extra to the design.

    Hi everyone..just to let you know I am very happy that you guys keep submitting designs. I am supposed to be receiving feedback from my colleauges hopefully by this evening. I guess they are all out enjoying the beautiful weekend!

    Wow...this is great. I now have a few comment from my colleagues that I would like to share with everyone. I think we are beginning to narrow down the look and feel that we are liking:

    Keep in mind they've only commented on from what they saw yesterday from designs #44 all the way down the page (with the exception of #54 because you made a change and now it it showing higher. (Btw Charles, it looks much better with the color of the blue box you chose for the word "in". The color shows up much better.) So any designs submitted after that, they haven't yet commented on to me.

    Also, keep in mind that our products are for Men and Women so we want a logo will appeal to BOTH.

    Here's what we all seem to like and agree upon:

    The word InLife as one word. It can be two different font colors such as the word "in" in one color and the word "Life" in another. #40 #42 (without the "dot" element on top) & #44 are nice (can you submit that with a white background too?)

    It doesn't have to be one font either. Ex: The word "In" can be one font and "Life" can be another. #54 They liked your use of two fonts: one is simple and the other more fancier but not overdone.

    Everyone: Play with the words. You can try all small lettering like "inlife" or capitalizing just the I and L InLife ....or inLIFE like #39 did. Just keep it one word.

    Another look they seem to like is the simplicity of #44 #40, #42 (again without the design element you used for the "i"). Those are simple, clean and easy to read. #40 and #41 could we see your design without the element above the "i"?
    Personally, I really liked it but some here didn't so let's see what it looks like without it too. We do like your use of duo tone in blues. It looks very nice.

    We all seem to like the use of blue as ONE of the colors.

    Here's what we don't want so far:

    They seem to not like any of the design elements that are being used (like flowers, hearts,people etc.) However, we are not ruling a design element out completely it's just so far nothing stands out. Some are looking too "industrial" which is what we don't want, some are too overbearing for the text and some are too feminine or too "cutsie" looking.

    BUT how about... an underline or a swoosh underneath the text or somewhere else in the design instead might look nice. It doesn't have to have that of course if it doesn't work for your design. I am just throwing out a suggestion. If a design element IS used,it should add a touch of color or a sexy feel to the design. I hope that makes sense.

    So that means No flowers, butterflies, hearts, figures, globes, etc. being used as the the design element.

    Important: Our box for the product is going to be in is either white, black, or silver. However, your logo will be everywhere else in our marketing materials such as website, brochures, t-shirts, hats, nylon carrying bags etc. So it must be clear and easy to read and look good when the size is reduced for printing purposes.

    Submit a design using at least a white background and a black background (like lots of you have done already done, thanks!)

    One more thing...Even though I mentioned simple and clean we still want that sexy feel to it! I mean, if you take a look at our current logo for our company at www.myrevelle.com ....it may be simple but it certainly is not sexy at all! It's really boring. So that's what we don't want.

    Hi everyone,

    I’ve been quiet lately but checking in….We are all looking at the designs now and then each one of us will be selecting our top three when the contest nears an end. I will know more later but you probably won’t here me comment much because if I do at this point, then it would be just “my” opinion of what I like…...I wish I were making the final decision :-)

    If someone here on my end asks me to have you change something in a design, then I will do that.

    So far the designs look great and the hard part will be deciding on just one!
