Brief Summary

I would like a logo for "City Flavor." It will be used on business cards distributed to guests staying at hotels. It will have participating business's logos and ads on the card, so guests will patronize their businesses while they are staying in town. It will be mostly restaurants advertising on the card, but could include small town theater productions, massage, museums, special events, outdoor venues, etc.

    I like it, but think the graphic may be too small to be able to make out what it is. Maybe not, after looking again at the small thumbnail.
    Also, it looks like a face, but the world with city buildings.
    What is the "mouth" or am I not seeing this the way you intended. I like the idea and like what you did with the background and the shading under the secondary artwork!

    Veti,(#2) I love what you did with the earth!
    That is really cool looking!
    It is not quite what I am looking for. It is for cities, not for the world. And for "flavor"? I have yet to see something connoting dining, eating, going out in the CITY.
    It can be cartoon-like, but I would like for it to be seriously received, but FUN!

    #3, not what I am looking for.
    Since the card will be printed in full color, I would expect more done with color. This is too generic for me.

    Krista - I tried to make the city within the earth but blurred it I dont know if you can see it. I will make it more clear, would you like me to submit more with similar but more defined properties? Do you like the text, shine and color etc?

    griddle you really havent spent alot of time - the contest holder will b e looking for something that is smart and sticks in the customers mind and I see you have just used 1 brush in 2 colors? :S

    Not enough color on #8, #10 is too plain.

    #4, I don't care for the font choice, as well as the secondary artwork. It is not upperscale, but more ghetto.

    I am loving #9, I thought I already posted these comments, but will repost, b/c I don't see them posted.
    #9, you may try a couple of diffent fonts on this. I love what you have got going.
    #12, I like the font of "flavor", but the City reminds my of Circuit City.
    #13, Sean, it looks like it is going "Blahh! Puke on these!" Hahahaha! If we used a longer tongue, it may look serpent-like, which we don't want either. I don't know.

    #9 also received many votes, as did #24 and #14. Also votes went to #25, #18, #36, #31, #29, #27, #12, #20, #38, #40, #23, #32, #20, #1. It was ALL across the board.
    I hate to put you on hold, but I have no choice at this point.
    I officially have 15 hours left, but would have liked to have made my decision tonight.
    I apologize!
    A bit of advice: when you have entered a contest and it's getting near "crunch (deadline) time", please do your contest holders a favor and be available for them, especially if they have stated their wishes to make a decision by a certain time.
    They may change their decision based upon your availability and commuication with them towards the contest end.

    A win is not only money for you designers, but recognition for you! I searched many contests and found some of your work that I really liked and personally asked you to submit. I picked a couple of you based on your winning of other contests, but also the style you put into it.
    You all are absolutely fabulous!
    I have shared this site with many fellow business owner/entrepreneurs. I always have ideas, so I shall return.
    I enjoy looking at what you all are creating for others as well.
