Thanks for the variations. Something is not quite right. Perhaps the dog silhouettes are not great. Not sure what to suggest as I realise you have spent alot of time already. Leave it up to you.

hi again Paul - another option for your consideration - as you can see, dropped the black, chose a slightly darker grey than the border, removed the "heart" shape for the dog's nose - and placed the tick in front - look forward to your thoughts on this one! hope you're having a good weekend. best wishes Rebecca

Thanks for the revisions. I am thinking now the black is too harsh and an illustration in the style of your design #29 would work better. As a starter perhaps try that exact illustration behind the tick. Many thanks!

...and another - slightly older more "languid" style of dog (!) - resting on the tick!
cheers

Hey I like this alot. The concept is absolutely perfect. I just don't think the dog image is that great. I would get rid of the heart shaped mouth too. The tick may work better in front too. Perhaps have the dogs paws coming over it?!! Or perhaps you could have a dog resting on it sideways as if the tick was a seat?!! I am glad you are up for the challenge - this design is looking really promising.
Thanks
Paul

Thanks Rebecca. I feel there is too much going on in this design. The style of the illustration of the dog is nice but overall I don't feel this design works. I feel your previous 2 submissions were closer to the mark. I like the idea of the tick that you used to depict the fact that pets are welcome. Just need to somehow combine this tick with another graphic depicting "pets" (or at least dogs). Perhaps it is worth revisiting your first design - I like its simplicity but the graphic wasn't quite right (alarm clock / cat thoughts sprung to mind).
Thanks for sticking with this contest!!

Hi Paul - I have to admit that I think the paw print is a bit of a "free-kick" as the aussies say (!) - but I'll keep thinking - but I appreciate the quick replies! best wishes Rebecca
