Submitted design #2
Hi there - please find attached my submission for the job. I have get it very simple and felt that a "generic" approach would be best as it had to be applicable to not only different pets - but also different establishments. all fonts and colors are obviously interchangeable so do please ask if you would like any amendments and I will action immediately. Look forward to your reply. Best Wishes Rebecca
Thanks for the super fast entry. I think it is too cat orientated and kind of looks like an alarm clock. I don't think the image immediately portrays "Pets Welcome"
Many thanks
Paul
Hi Paul - re entry #2
I appreciate your quick reply aswell (!) and the feedback. I'll think on this more and would be happy to submit another design. I do feel it should be as generic as possible so will work on that premise! I'll upload a new design as soon as possible. best wishes Rebecca

Hi again Paul - how about something like this?! look forward to your feedback. Best Wishes Rebecca
Thanks for the new entry. It is OK but I was hoping for something a bit more original. I will wait and see what other designs come in and come back to you on this one.
Many thanks
Paul
Hi Paul - I have to admit that I think the paw print is a bit of a "free-kick" as the aussies say (!) - but I'll keep thinking - but I appreciate the quick replies! best wishes Rebecca
Submitted design #29
Hi again Paul - not sure if this is closer to the mark but thought I would give it a go anyway! Good to see you getting so many options to choose from! kind regards Rebecca
Thanks Rebecca. I feel there is too much going on in this design. The style of the illustration of the dog is nice but overall I don't feel this design works. I feel your previous 2 submissions were closer to the mark. I like the idea of the tick that you used to depict the fact that pets are welcome. Just need to somehow combine this tick with another graphic depicting "pets" (or at least dogs). Perhaps it is worth revisiting your first design - I like its simplicity but the graphic wasn't quite right (alarm clock / cat thoughts sprung to mind).
Thanks for sticking with this contest!!

Hi Paul - I really appreciate you getting back with feedback - it's vital as a designer so is very welcome! ok - have had another go based on what you said and gone for simple simple simple! (this is clearly turning into a creative challenge for me and I rarely give up!).....look forward to your thoughts on this latest entry.....best wishes Rebecca
Hey I like this alot. The concept is absolutely perfect. I just don't think the dog image is that great. I would get rid of the heart shaped mouth too. The tick may work better in front too. Perhaps have the dogs paws coming over it?!! Or perhaps you could have a dog resting on it sideways as if the tick was a seat?!! I am glad you are up for the challenge - this design is looking really promising.
Thanks
Paul
Submitted design #60
Hi again Paul - good to hear my perseverance may be paying off! here's another sample for you to consider with the dog standing up to the tick.....look forward to your thoughts on this one! cheers! Rebecca
Submitted design #61
...and another - slightly older more "languid" style of dog (!) - resting on the tick!
cheers
Rebecca
Thanks for the revisions. I am thinking now the black is too harsh and an illustration in the style of your design #29 would work better. As a starter perhaps try that exact illustration behind the tick. Many thanks!

hi again Paul - another option for your consideration - as you can see, dropped the black, chose a slightly darker grey than the border, removed the "heart" shape for the dog's nose - and placed the tick in front - look forward to your thoughts on this one! hope you're having a good weekend. best wishes Rebecca
Thanks for the variations. Something is not quite right. Perhaps the dog silhouettes are not great. Not sure what to suggest as I realise you have spent alot of time already. Leave it up to you.
