my thinking is that if you keep it to a minimal 2 color line drawing similar to this, you will get that nice "urban green" look to it quite effectively.

need to work out a font for this one.
I really like the leaf as a thumb on #6. The fingers need to be a little softer, but so far this is my favorite.

this one is closer to the original, but with a slightly more refined hand part..
I think you've almots got it with #39. Can I see it with a few variations on the text colors (some words green, some grey vs. all green or any other combination, I think green fingers needs to be the same color). Also can you do it a second version on a background other than white?

here is an example of the logo on a dark earthy grey color.
if we want to keep the leaf green, it means it will have to change to a lighter shade of green to show properly on a dark background
