Brief Summary

We need a logo designed for a website, CaptionCrowd.com.

The logo will be used on the website and eventually in print (cards and letterheads) but you only need to focus on the logo. We would also like you to come up with a color palette derived from the logo on which our other creative elements can be based on (palette to consist of 4 colors).

We are big fans of the Web 2.0 look and feel. Although we've seen pure solid color vector based logos knock our socks off, we also love the gradients, reflections, and sheens found on modern web 2.0 logos.

Brand Name
CaptionCrowd.com
Description

Design our logo to be used as the corporate identity of CaptionCrowd.com

CaptionCrowd.com is a crowd sourced photo captioning site which allows users to upload and submit photos, submit captions and rate other users captions. The site will include a caption ranking system, which allows users to vote on the best captions for each photo in a dig style ranking of captions for each photo and on a higher level vote for the best overall photo/caption combination. The site allows the user to overlay any one of the submitted captions on top of the photo as well as submit their own. Captioned photos can be linked/embedded to on social networks, personal sites, blogs, or downloaded locally.
