Brief Summary

We need a logo designed for a website, CaptionCrowd.com.

The logo will be used on the website and eventually in print (cards and letterheads) but you only need to focus on the logo. We would also like you to come up with a color palette derived from the logo on which our other creative elements can be based on (palette to consist of 4 colors).

We are big fans of the Web 2.0 look and feel. Although we've seen pure solid color vector based logos knock our socks off, we also love the gradients, reflections, and sheens found on modern web 2.0 logos.

    didnt get my entry in on time. good luck to the contest holder if they choose on of the ones with the camera....waaaaay too similar to photobucket.com

    hope that theatre doesnt see corz's design either or http://wegoto12.com/ either. seems to be a generic shape. not too original. oh well. too bad. at least polaroid gave up on their product so courtch doesnt have to worry.

    thanks for the critique, i posted a seperate version just to see how it would look. i don't really think it matters either way, up to personal taste, but perhaps teh CH will like this more. thanks again my own designs. always good to hear what others are thinkng

    palmater: the ".com" is tough to read on it's side like that

    korz: you might wanna check out this link cuz you are infringing on their logo - http://www.qtheatre.co.nz/Images/qt…e_logo.gif oh and i think i may have seen those people in a circle somewhere else. you might want to look into it.

    eronkid: i am pretty sure photobucket is gonna have some issues with your logo, especially since they are a similar sort of site

    all in all you guys are doing great! i am going to have step my game up with my entry!

    they are turning out good. this is going to be a tough call. when comping, please try one version in small format against a black background and another on a white background. the reason is they will show up in captioned photos as small watermarks on a background. versatility here will be a big plus.
